For tough mold and mildew spots let it sit for 15 minutes.

If not reapply and wait another hour.
One option is to put 2 3 white vinegar and 2 teaspoons of baking soda in a spray bottle.
Spray the vinegar solution onto the shower door seal.
Whatever product you use simply spray the silicone mold from the shower and let the mixture sit for about an hour.
If the spot check looks good continue to remove the cotton balls or cotton coils from your bathtub caulking discarding them into a trash bag.
Once it gets back there or into the grout anywhere else in the bathroom it s very hard to get rid of.
If however the mildew creeps behind the caulk you may have to replace it.
Mix 1 cup of bleach with 1 gallon of hot water in a bucket or use a commercial cleaner.
Dip the toothbrush in the bucket and scrub the seal.
Both will kill the mold.
Add a generous squirt of dishwashing.
This will kill the mold spores and prevent them from growing and spreading.
Just spray or wipe it on you don t need to scrub.
Wet an old soft toothbrush with the vinegar.
Move the seal around to make sure you get.
Spot check an area to see if the mold on shower caulking is gone.
If you have a bigger mold problem you might need to repeat the application a couple of times.
