So in this video i will show you the part 1 where i removed the bathroom tiles.
How to remove stuck on tile from shower wall.
As you might have already picked up on previous posts my instagram or if you just have a pretty awesome streak of esp this week i ve decided that my master bathroom is finally going to get my focus this summer it s not going to be just my floor that gets some tile help though i m redoing the shower too.
The method used to attach the tiles to the wall affects the way the tiles come off.
They just fall apart into little pieces.
It literally is taking 5 mins a tile.
Chisel tiles away from the wall.
The rest stays stuck to the render.
But before i get into the whole do it yourself project of how to tile a new.
I honestly don t know what this guy stuck his tiles on with.
Continue tapping around all four sides of the tile.
Gently tap the chisel using a hammer and move along the upper edge.
Cut through the drywall along the edge of the tiles with a utility knife.
A reciprocating saw is the best tool for this job.
Our shower room needs revamping.
They are not coming off.
And it is just breaking all the render off the wall when i do eventually get some of the tiles off.
Tiles installed with thinset or another tile adhesive often require more work to remove them.
Chip away the rounded bullnose tiles from the edge and top of a shower with a hammer and chisel.
I hope you will follow me through the proc.
Cut along the edge of the wall studs if possible.
Place the chisel on the edge of the first tile where you scored the grout.
